KARACHI, March 9: The KESC has assured smooth supply of electricity in the city today (March 10) to facilitate the participants of Chehlum of Hazrat Imam Hussein (RA).

Officials in a meeting of the utility’s City Coordination Committee said that staff and vehicles would be posted with the procession starting from Nishter Park to Hussainia Iranian, Kharadar and other areas of the city accordingly.

The Director Customer services said that priority had been given to the substations, PMTs and feeders from where power would be supplied to all main imam bargahs and mosques, while standby generators would also be kept close to the important areas.
