ADBP to disburse Rs250m

GILGIT, Feb 22: The Agriculture Development Bank of Pakistan (ADBP) will extend loans worth Rs250 million to the farmers in Northern Areas during the current fiscal year.

ADBP Regional Manager Abdul Ghafoor told Dawn on Thursday that Rs70 million had already been disbursed and about Rs80 million had been allocated for the production and acquisition of potato seeds to the farmers.

He said that the mobile credit officers of the bank had been regularly visiting the remote and far-flung areas to facilitate the farmers in connection with loan procedures and guidelines.
