Six criminals arrested

PESHAWAR, Feb 28: The city police have arrested six proclaimed offenders during an ongoing crackdown on criminals.

Police identified the arrested accused as Tufail Muhammad resident of Umar, Alam Zeb of Umarzai Charsadda, Imdad of the Chamkani area, Mukhtair Hussain of Shahbaz Ghari Madan, Mukhtair Ali Shah, and Muhammad Qasim.

A Klashnikov assault rifle, 10 pistols, a rifle, 81 rounds of different calibres and 41 kilogrammes of Charas were seized from the possession of outlaws.

Meanwhile, Jalat Khan, who had been kidnapped on February 23, was recovered safely during a raid by police.

The raiding police teamwas led by Abdul Hamid Khan, station house officer (SHO) of the Regi Lalma police station.—APP
