KARACHI, Feb 28: The Rumi Forum is a Turkish based international forum, which works to promote inter-faith and international dialogue, peace and tolerance as a tool of human and social development for the Pakistani people.

The NGO has been arranging cultural programmes since 2005, to show harmony, peace and tolerance of Islam to people all over the world.

The Forum is presenting Turkish Whirling Dervishes: Sema today (Thursday) at the arts council at 7.30pm. The night is dedicated to Rumi, his way of love, peace and universal truth.

The event will feature a presentation on Rumi and the Sufi Tradition; a magical performance by the world-renowned Turkish Whirling Dervishes; a feast of live Sufi music; and a speech on the relevance of Rumi today.
