Sindh karate trials

KARACHI, Feb 23: Trials to select Sindh men and women karate squads for upcoming National Games will be held at the Institute of Karate on March 4.

According to the Karachi City District Karate Association (KCDKA) on Friday, the men's team will feature in individual kamite in categories of 50, 55, 60, 65, 70, 75, 80 and 80 plus kilograms besides competing in open weight, individual and team kata events.

The women will take part in individual kamite and kata events. The KCDKA has advised affiliated karate associations and clubs to contact secretary Abdul Hameed on cell no. 021-2550242 to register their teams for the trials till March 2.—PPI
