KARACHI, Feb 20: Jordan’s Prince Hasan Bin Talal called on Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ibad on Tuesday and exchanged views on issues facing the Ummah and other matters.

Both leaders stressed on the need for unity in the Ummah and progress in social and economic sectors in all Muslim countries. They said that these objectives could only be attained by the elimination of poverty and improving the standard of living of their people.

Prince Talal observed that the issues confronting the world could only be solved through dialogue.

The Governor informed the Prince of the development work in different sectors and going mega projects in progress in the city.

The Prince expressed keen interest in low cost housing and facilities being provided in Kachchi Abadis and reforms in the agriculture sector.

The Governor informed the Prince that Pakistan was determined to continue the war against terrorism and extremist elements.
