KARACHI, Feb 20: A minor girl who was kidnapped from outside her house in Jacob Lines was recovered from Larkana.

Daud, a resident of Jacob Lines, contacted Advocate Zia Ahmed Awan of the NGO, Madadgaar, to help recover his 10-years daughter Kanwal who disappeared mysteriously since February 4.

The rights group helped them registration of the case with the police concerned and got assigned some efficient police officials for the investigations.

During the course of the investigation, the police learnt that some neighbours had last seen Kanwal with a man identified as Kashif alias Hazoor Bakhsh.

The investigators discovered Kanwal’s clothes from Kashif’s house and later with the help of Larkana police, they arrested Kashif with Kanwal from his house in Larkana.

The Madadgaar spokesman quoted Kanwal’s statement before a magistrate in which she identified Kashif as the abductor and said he had offered her sweets and treats and took her to Larkana.—Staff Reporter
