Karachi Grammar retain soccer title

KARACHI, Feb 19: Karachi Grammar School retained Karachi United school soccer championship title with a 4-0 victory over St. Patrick’s High School at DHA Stadium on Sunday.

The champions went 1-0 ahead with a Zaid Kerai strike in the fifth minute, while two-goal Rizwan Butt doubled the lead in the 26th minute before scoring his double in the 38th minute. Yasin Ali Ali Bhai completed the tally in the 50th minute.

Ashan Minhas struck twice to help The Lyceum School defeat Army Public School 2-0 in the third place playoff.

Ashan was on target in the 22nd minute and found the cage for his second 40th minute.
