KARACHI, Feb 9: Pakistan Hindu Council has expressed grief over the abduction and killing of a young Hindu engineer Greesh Kumar Maheshvari.

In a statement issued here on Friday, the Hindu Council strongly condemned the frequent kidnapping of girls and boys belonging to minorities and demanded arrest and severe punishment to the culprits.

“The minority in Pakistan feels insecure due to such incidents and the council, therefore, request the president and prime minister, Sindh governor and chief minister to take serious note of the situation and provide justice to the Hindu community,” the statement concluded.—Staff Reporter
