KARACHI, Feb 20: The Department of Biochemistry, University of Karachi, in collaboration with the Pakistan Scientific and Technical Information Centre (PASTIC), is organizing a 3-day workshop on the “Use of IT in Biochemical Research” from March 4, 2002 in Karachi.

Chairman National Commission for Biotechnology, Dr Anwar Nasim, would deliver the key-note address at the inaugural ceremony of the workshop, while vice-chancellor KU, Dr Zafar S. Saify would address the concluding session of the workshop.

EXAMS: The University of Karachi has announced that M.S and M.D (part-B) theory examinations will commence from March 1 at Dean Office, Faculty of Arts, in the morning. — PPI
