Women judo starts Friday

LAHORE, Jan 29: Nine teams will lock horns when the 2nd National Women judo championship commences on Friday. As per rules of the contest, each unit is allowed to send a maximum of three players in each weight group, including below 40, 44, 48, 52, 57, 63, 70kgs and Open weight.

All the bouts will be held under the rules of the International Judo Federation (IJF).

A clinic for referees and judges will also be held on this occasion where new rules of the IJF will be discussed.
