KARACHI: Roads in Gulistan-i-Jauhar

Published January 23, 2007

KARACHI, Jan 22: Almost all the roads in Gulistan-i-Jauhar are in bad shape, causing massive traffic jams and sometimes accisdents as well. The roads that need immediate attention of the authorities concerned include Jauhar Mor to Mausmiat, from University Road to Jauhar Chowrangi and from there to Rabia City, Bhitaiabad Road and many service roads.

The authorities concerned seem to have turned deaf ear to the voices raised in the media for the immediate repair of roads.

Further more, massive traffic jams at Jauhar Mor have become a routine.

There is an urgent need on part of the authorities concerned to come up with concrete measures to repair the dilapidated roads at the earliest.-—PPI
