NAUSHAHRO FEROZE: Hostage freed

Published December 30, 2006

NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, Dec 29: A gold smith, kidnapped from Tharushah about a month back, was recovered by the police near Matiari late on Thursday night. The recovered man, Sikandar Ali Khokhar, told newsmen that he was kidnapped by Jafar Keerio gang.

He said he was administered sedatives and most of the time he remained sleepy and whenever he gained senses, the kidnappers thrashed him.

He claimed that the kidnappers told him that they were kidnapping people from district Naushahro Feroze and will continue to do so “just to penalise Irfan Baloch, the DPO”.
