KOHAT, Dec 21: The youth must be armed with scientific knowledge and creative abilities to face the challenges of the modern world, according to Minister for Inter-Provincial Coordination Salim Saifullah Khan.

He said this while addressing the 41st parents’ day ceremony at the Kohat Cadet College on Thursday. The minister urged the teachers and the parents to educate the youth about the sanctity of national traditions and values.

He reaffirmed the governments’ commitment to provide financial assistance to quality education institutes and announced a grant of Rs1.5 million for the college. Later, he distributed medals and shields among the cadets.—Correspondent
