KARACHI, Dec 15: The National Commission for Human Development (NCHD) and world’s leading auction house, Christi’s, are to hold auction of calligraphy of renowned artist/scholar Dr Mustafa, regarded as an authority on Arabic/Islamic art and design, here on December 17.

An exhibition of calligraphic art has also been organised jointly by the NCHD, Pakistan Human Development Fund and the Earthquake Appeal (Bristol).

The funds raised through the auction will be utilised in rebuilding a girls primary school in Mansehra and NCHDs other educational and health initiatives.

Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ibad will be the chief guest on the occasion. Dr Nasim Asharaf, Minister of state and NCHD chairman, will be among the participants. Performance by Amjad Sabri is also among features of the event.—PPI
