Record entries for girls’ basketball

KARACHI, Dec 13: A record number of 21 teams have entered in the Karachi Board Inter-collegiate Girls Basketball tournament which begins at Sir Syed College on Thursday.

According to draws, five matches will be played on the opening day of the competition.

Hosts Sir Syed College are the defending champions.

The event will form criteria for selection of Karachi Board team for the Inter-board Girls Basketball championship which is being held at Islamabad from Jan 11.
