KARACHI, Dec 8: A seminar on “Development of Human Rights Friendly Culture is Must for the Social Fibre”, sponsored by the Ministry of Law, Justice and Human Rights, is being organised here under the auspices of Regional Directorate of Human Rights on the occasion of the International Human Rights Day on Sunday at 11:30am at a local hotel.

Adviser to the CM on Home Waseem Akhtar will be the chief guest.

Regional Director Mohammad Mazahir Hussain will deliver the welcome address whereas Dr Khaleda Ghaus, MD, Social Policy Development Centre, will speak on the subject.

PAWLA’s Ms Rasheeda Patel, IG Prisons Yameen Khan, AIG Sindh Niaz Ahmed Siddiqui, CPLC chief Sharfuddin Memon, DG Sindh Judicial Academy Justice Ghaus Mohammad will express their views at the seminar.—PPI
