LARKANA, Dec 6: The Anti-Greater Thal Canal Action Committee, at a meeting held here on Wednesday, finalised arrangements for the rally scheduled for December 13 to express concern over reported concept clearance of the ‘controversial’ Kalabagh dam by a federal forum.

At the meeting held at the city PPP office, committees were also formed to oversee different aspects of the preparations, and the programme of holding the rally on December 13 in the town was finalized, said Asghar Shaikh, information secretary of the People’s Party Parliamentarians, Larkana district.The rally, earlier scheduled for December 5, was deferred to

December 13 due to torrential rains that hit the entire province, he added. The sister organizations of all the component parties were asked to distribute handbills and contact people to make this event a success.
