KARACHI, Dec 4: Sindh Home Adviser Wasim Akhtar on Monday directed the concerned officials to take necessary steps to ensure smooth flow of traffic in view of the current rains.

He directed IG Sindh, CCPO, DIG Traffic, and all RPOs, DPOs and TPOs to cooperate with traffic police to cope with any untoward situation besides maintaining smooth flow of traffic.

Wasim Akhtar directed all concerned officers to personally work in the field and take special arrangements to give way to ambulances so that they could timely reach hospitals. He also directed to depute police officials in badly rain-affected areas for the help of traffic police.—PPI
