West Indies arrive in Karachi

KARACHI, Nov 24: The West Indies cricket team arrived in the city on Friday afternoon to play third and final Test against Pakistan. The match will be played at the National Stadium from Monday.

Brian Lara's men were greeted at the airport by the Sindh sports minister and officials of the Pakistan Cricket Board and the Karachi City Cricket Association.

A large number of fans swarmed the airport to welcome the team, particularly skipper Brian Lara.

Needing a victory to draw the Test series, the tourists will have their first training session at the venue today.

Pakistan team will arrive in the city on Saturday (today).—PPI
