KARACHI, Nov 22: The government is keen to promote foreign investment and is ready to guarantee the safety of foreigners in Karachi and the rest of the country. These views were expressed by Home Advisor to the chief minister, Mr Waseem Akhtar, during his meeting with Korean Consul General Sukchul Chang.

He assured the consul general, the government would extend every facility to the Daewoo-Sammi Express Bus service which is to start operation between Karachi and Hyderabad from February.

The Korean envoy briefed the advisor about the welfare projects and investments made by his country in Pakistan.
