Assets sale deal for LTM signed

ISLAMABAD, Nov 21: An assets sale agreement was signed here on Tuesday for sale of assets, including plant, machinery and equipment of Lasbella Textile Mills.

According to a handout issued here, a letter of acceptance was issued to the buyer, M/s Rais Ahmed, on October 20. Rais Ahmed has completed the payment of Rs156 million.

LTM is a project of Iran Pakistan Industries (Pvt) Limited situated at Uthal, District Lasbella, Balochistan.

The Privatisation Commission had received 43 expressions of interest for this transaction, out of which 16 parties reached the bidding point.
