Sohail strike rescues Sindh Muslim

KARACHI, Nov 12: An injury-time strike by Sohail Brohi helped Sindh Muslim salvage a 1-1 draw at Ghani XI in the KASB soccer league at CDGK Stadium on Saturday.

Hashmatullah slotted home for Ghani XI on a penalty in the 15th minute, while Sohail found the net in the injury time to equalise.

In another game, three-goal Mohammad Omar gave Baloch Mohammadan a 5-3 victory over Korangi Mohammadan.

Baloch Mohammadan took a fine start with a Majid Hussain goal in the 13th minute, while Amjad grabbed the equaliser for Korangi Mohammadan four minutes later.

Sajid Ali put Korangi Mohammadan ahead in the 19th minute before Amjad got his second in the 33rd minute.

Omar reduced the margin with 38th-minute effort, while Abdul Majeed made it 3-3 in the 54th minute for the winners. Omar converted two penalties in the 62nd and 67th minutes to wrap up the proceedings.
