LARKANA, Nov 10: Judicial Magistrate Bashir Ahmed Channa on Friday allowed two women who feared their husbands would kill them after declaring them karis to live with their close relatives.

The judge allowed Farida, wife of Abdul Ghani Chandio, to live with her father Zamir Khan.

She had left her home in Kariyo Jam village and took refuge in Behram police station on Thursday after she was convinced her husband would kill her.

The judge allowed another woman, Malookan Gurgaij, wife of Sujawal Gurgaij, to live with her brother, Nek Muhammed Buledi after she told the court that her husband was allegedly making plans to kill her and another close relative after declaring them karo-kari.
