FAISALABAD, Nov 6: Police claimed on Monday to have arrested four alleged killers of a seven-year-old boy who kidnapped him for ransom.

Ibrahim was kidnapped on Sept 11 and the family informed the police immediately which failed to recover the boy even after 53 days.

However, police sources claimed that they traced a mobile phone call made by the suspected kidnappers, which helped them arrest Abdul Majeed alias Majeeda.

On the information provided by the accused during initial investigation, police arrested Idrees and Allah Ditta, both relatives of victim’s father Ghulam Mustafa, and Akbar Ali of Shahbaz Town.

During investigation, the criminals told police that they had killed Ibrahim and threw his body in a canal in Chichawatni.

Police and the family of the boy visited Chichawatni but could not recover the body.

However, some people claimed that some people from Vehari had taken the body of a boy a couple of days ago. It has complicated the situation.
