HYDERABAD, Nov 2: Precautionary measures should be taken against dengue virus in four talukas of Jamshoro district and medicines should be made available in government hospitals.

Speaking at a meeting of health officers and taluka municipal officers of Jamshoro, DCO Dr Khawar Jamil said on Wednesday that mass campaign should be launched and pamphlets should be distributed at the union council level to create awareness among the people about implications of the dangerous virus. He said that an anti-mosquito spray campaign should also be launched at the union council level.

EDO (health) Dr Ali Akbar Dahiri said that he had only one spray machine while another had been given by the director-general health services.
