KARACHI, Oct 20: Pakistan People,s Party (PPP) Sindh President Syed Qaim Ali Shah said on Friday that the PPP believes in fair politics and has not made any deal with the government.

He said this while addressing at an Iftar Dinner organized by PPP District Malir at Memon Goth, Malir. Central Deputy Secretary General Mian Raza Rabbani, Professor N D Khan, Rashid Hussain Rabbani, Mufti Ferozuddin, Rafiq Engineer and other party leaders and workers were also present.

Qaim Ali Shah said before next general elections, PPP chairperson Benazir Bhutto would return to Pakistan and PPP would participate in elections in her leadership.

He further claimed that the PPP would sweep next elections all over Pakistan.

Meanwhile, addressing a programme here at the People’s Secretariat held for distributing grocery among poor, he said that due to bad economic policies of the government, poverty was increasing in the country and low-income class was facing hardships.

He said that the PPP always worked for the betterment of people and had provided lots of jobs to people.

Mian Raza Rabbani said that the Parliament had been made a rubber stamp and the government, instead of taking the parliament into confidence on national issues, was following the dictations from a single man.

Separately, General Secretary of PPP Sindh Nafees Siddiqui said that the Charter of Democracy, signed between two former Prime Ministers had baffled the government and now it was trying to mislead people through the rumours about deal between government and PPP.

Addressing at an Iftar Dinner in Baldia Town, he said that the government had failed to provide security to people and elimination of poverty, corruption and street crimes.—PPI
