SHIKARPUR, Oct 20: The posts of women junior school teachers and high school teachers filled by the Sindh government during 2002-2003 in Shikarpur district under the middle school project at a fixed pay on contract basis are yet to be regularised.

According to sources in the education department, these posts were regular positions while teachers were appointed on contact basis.

The education department and the middle school project authorities had asked the district government of Shikarpur that the district government was responsible for regularising the posts of the teachers to pay their salary from the district budget.

Later, the salary was released from the district budget regularly but the posts have not been regularised so far.

The affected teachers have urged of the district nazim, Mohammad Arif Mahar, DCO Khuwaja Shafique Ahmed and EDO Education Qazi Nisar Ahmed to increase their salary and regularise their services.
