3-goal Asif guide Pindi to victory

RAWALPINDI, Oct 11: Rawalpindi Zone and PAF chalked up victories on the third day of COAS Cup polo tournament at the Rawalpindi polo club on Wednesday.

Rawalpindi Zone defeated Karachi by half a goal while PAF beat Rawalpindi Blues 5-3.

Asif Zahoor led the scorers with three goals for Rawalpindi Zone, followed by Bilal Umer (2) and Sikander Ali.

Karachi entered the field with a two and half goal advantage while Kamran Aslam smashed home all the three goals from open play for them.

In the second match, Tauheed scored three goals and Asif Aslam and Azher struck one each for PAF while Nauman, Tauseef and Ahsan scored for the Rawalpindi Blues.—APP
