Rs10 million cotton burnt in fire

RAHIM YAR KHAN, Oct 11: Cotton worth millions of rupees was reduced to ashes in a factory fire on Tuesday evening.

The fire engulfed the whole stock at the Fazal Cotton Mills near Kot Samaba, 20 kilometers from here. Fire fighters extinguished the blaze after several hours’ struggle.

The cause of fire is not yet known. Factory owner Mian Saeed has estimated the loss at Rs10 million.
