ISLAMABAD, Oct 6: The National Assembly’s Standing Committee on Rules of Procedure and Privileges, which met under the chairmanship of Sardar Nasarullah Khan Dreshak at the Parliament House on Friday, discussed five privilege motions.

The committee disposed of the privilege motion moved by Fauzia Habib and other MNAs regarding alleged prevention of the member by Murree administration from participating in a public rally, since the matter has been resolved.

In the privilege motion moved by Ramesh Lal against Bashir Ahmad Sheikh, district food controller, Larkana, the committee directed him to tender unconditional written apology to the mover as well as to the committee, which would decide the matter in the next meeting.
