KARACHI, Oct 4: The city government officials with magisterial powers conducted raids in different markets of the city on Wednesday to inspect prices of essential items.
They imposed fines amounting to Rs529,900 on 333 sellers and arrested three person for overcharging.
The offenders included sellers of vegetable, fruit, meat, milk, groceries and other items, said a statement of the city government on Wednesday.
