KARACHI, Sept 30: The Sindh education department is utilising all available resources for the promotion of education in the far-flung areas of the province.

This was stated by Sindh Education Minister Dr Hamida Khuhro, while chairing a meeting here on Saturday.

She called for convincing parents and guardians through media that they should send their children to schools for the acquisition of knowledge.

The minister asked the media cell of the education department to play an effective role in this direction. She also directed that a campaign thorough the media should also be initiated. Secretary education and senior officials attended the meeting.—APP
