DHARAMSALA (India), Sept 28: Former Pakistan opener Imran Nazir lashed 123 from 113 balls on day two of the Nissar Trophy four-day game between the national champions of India and Pakistan on Thursday.

The hard-hitting Imran hit 16 fours and five sixes before being the last man out for Quaid-i-Azam winners Sialkot in this northern hill town.

Imran, sidelined from the national team since playing the last of his 61 One-day Internationals two years ago, dominated in a 122-run seventh wicket partnership to rescue the innings from 96 for six.

India's Ranji Trophy champions Uttar Pradesh earned a 55-run first innings lead, dismissing Sialkot for 261 in reply to their 316 all out, Rizwan Shamshad top-scoring with 84.
