KARACHI, Sept 24: The Lyari Development Authority, in a meeting on Sunday, decided to send possession orders to the allottees of Hawkesbay Scheme-42 through courier service completing the entire process within six weeks.

The possession orders would be sent to those who had cleared all dues and submitted their latest profiles at the special counter established in land department of the LDA.

In case of non-receipt of possession order in given period, the allottees were advised to contact the land department of LDA situated on the 4th floor of Civic Centre or at phone numbers 9202344 and 9203757.

Three months back Sindh Governor Ishratul Ibad accompanied by City Nazim and LDA Governing Body Chairman Mustafa Kamal started distributing possession documents to the allotees. The possession orders are being given phase-wise.

The meeting further decided that the leftover plots in various sectors of Hawkesbay Scheme-42 would be given to low-income people through balloting.The ongoing work on construction of facilitating centre was also reviewed at the meeting. It was pointed out that the centre, which would be functional in six weeks, would guide the plot allottees of Hawkesbay Scheme.

The allottees who had not paid the outstanding dues yet were advised to clear their dues depositing the amount in HBL Civic Centre branch for getting possession of plot, as they did not need to pay any sort of late fees or penalty on immediate payment of dues. Besides, the allottees were informed that they could get a form from the LDA office or download it from the website: www.ldakarachi.com. Following the submission of duly filled in form, the allottees would be allocated with a computer number and the possession order would be immediately sent to his present address.—PPI
