Gujranwala make steady start

KARACHI, Feb 12: Gujranwala were 261 for seven in their first innings on the opening day of the Quaid Trophy Grade-I fixture against Rest of Balochistan at Lahore Country Club in Muridke Tuesday.

After being asked to bat first, Gujranwala made steady progress with Asim Munir (46 not out) and wicket-keeper Hafiz Khalid (45) the main scorers.

Balochistan’s wicket-keeper Mohtashim Ali enjoyed a fine day by claiming five catches.
