PESHAWAR, Sept 10: The Gandhara Hindko Board launched the collected work of mystic poet Sain Ahmad Ali here on Sunday. Research scholar Prof Khatir Ghaznavi presided over the launching ceremony of the book, Kulyat-i-Sain, at the Mohsin Hall of the Sarhad Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Sarhad Tourism Corporation’s managing director Khushdil Khan was the chief guest.

The speakers termed the poetry of Sain Ahmad Ali an asset for Hindko language and literature and praised the board and its senior vice-chairman Mohammad Ismail Awan for bringing out the work.

The board’s chairman Prof Zahoor Ahmad Awan said he was translating the poetry of Sain Ahmad Ali into Urdu and English, which would soon be published.

Ismail Awan, Dr Adnan Gul, Mohammad Ziauddin, Dr Salahuddin, Yousaf Reja Chishti, Sharafat Ali Mubarak and others also spoke.
