NAWABSHAH, Sept 7: None of the accused in the Rasool Bux Brohi murder case were produced in the district and sessions judge Nawabshah on Thursday because of non-availability of police escort.

An official of the police headquarters submitted in the court that police escort could not be sent to the Karachi central prison to bring the accused due to strike and emergency duty.

He said that the additional police force had been deployed in the district for emergency duty.

Policemen belonging to the Lyari Task Force, who were being prosecuted in the murder case, were shifted to the Karachi central prison from the Nawabshah district jail for security reasons.

The sessions judge fixed the next hearing for September 18.
