KARACHI: SQI to observe black day

KARACHI, Aug 28: Chief of the Sindh Qaumi Ittehad Sardar Mumtaz Ali Bhutto has announced that all component parties, including his Sindh National Front, would observe a ‘black day’ on Thursday (Aug 31) against the killing of veteran politician Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti and many others in Kohlu, Balochistan, by the armed forces. He said that the alliance would also organise a public meeting on Sept 12 in Shikarpur in this regard.

Sardar Bhutto made the announcement after a meeting of the alliance at his residence on Monday. He said that the killing of Nawab Bugti was part of the action aimed at suppressing the voice of Baloch people.
