KARACHI: Family rescued

KARACHI, Aug 18: A team of the city government’s fire department rescued a family stranded in their car as a tree fell down on the vehicle due to thunderstorm on Thursday.

A city government release issued on Friday said a person informed city nazim over cellphone that a tree had fallen over a car in North Nazimabad and a family was present inside the car.

Rescue team were rushed to the spot to provide assistance to the stranded family and got the family out of their car safely.—PPI
