Squash academy launched

PESHAWAR, Aug 16: The Pakistan Sports Board on Wednesday launched a squash academy at two recently renovated squash courts of the PSB Coaching Centre.

Former world No. 2 Mohibullah Khan and Pervaiz Ali coach youngsters in the academy.

“Formation of the academy is part of the long-term strategy to promote squash in the country,” Mohibullah said.

Total cost for maintaining the academy for one year will be Rs300,000. Players will be provided with rackets, shoes, uniform and scholarship of Rs500 per month.—APP
