The minister said, “It is the responsibility of the organisation to safeguard the interests of all registered workers under social security scheme.”

Mentioning that proper health measures can help prevent diseases, he urged doctors to devise an emergency plan to prevent all contagious diseases, and take necessary steps to ensure the availability of medicines in hospitals.

The minister also directed to ensure a clean and hygienic environment in the medical centres and hospitals of Sessi. In this regard, he said that all medical centres and hospitals of Sessi should be sprayed with germicide.

Sessi Commissioner Rasool Bukhsh Phulpoto informed the meeting that on the minister’s directives, a generator of 210KVS had been installed in the Sessi’s largest referral centre of the province, Kulsoom Bai Valika Hospital, so that during rains and power loadshedding its working might not be affected.
