Balochistan escape defeat in Sargodha

KARACHI, Feb 10: An unbroken sixth-wicket partnership of 93 between Azizullah Khan and Mian Nafees helped Rest of Balochistan to a draw on the final day of the Quaid Trophy Grade-I tie against Sargodha at Sports Stadium in Sargodha Sunday.

Azizullah (76 off 192 balls) and Nafees (45 off 80 balls) came together after Balochistan had lost half of their side for 81. Off-spinner Jibran Khan Niazi claimed three for 66 to complete a fine debut with match figures of nine for 108.

Sargodha had earlier declared at 247 for seven after taking a first innings lead of 128.
