Dance tutorials for KPop Demon Hunters

Fans of KPop Demon Hunters can now learn the official choreography from the hit animated film through a new series of videos. The first features HUNTR/X practising the moves for “How It’s Done”.

Full-length routines for songs including “Golden”, “Takedown”, “Soda Pop” and “Your Idol” were released on Netflix’s social media channels and Tudum soon. The videos feature moves and formations not shown in the film.

The film’s original choreographers, Nain, Leejung Lee and K-Tigers, demonstrated the dances and break down key moves in special Netflix episodes on November 2.

Taylor Swift joins Songwriters Hall of Fame

Taylor Swift has been inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame, alongside Lyle Lovett, Shawn Camp, Lee Thomas Miller, Bruce Channel and J.I. Allison.

Swift signed her first publishing deal in Nashville at 14. At the induction ceremony, she recalled learning the basics of songwriting from other writers and said her Nashville experience helped her explore different musical genres.

Singer Brad Paisley, who took Swift on tour early in her career, introduced her as “the voice of a generation”.

The ceremony also honoured country music star George Strait with the Career Maker Award for his contributions to songwriters over his five-decade career.

Pacino to receive lifetime achievement award

Actor Al Pacino, 86, will receive the SAG-AFTRA Life Achievement Award, the union’s highest honour, at the 33rd annual Actor Awards on February 28 in Los Angeles. The ceremony will stream live on Netflix.

Known for The Godfather trilogy and many other films, Pacino is the 62nd recipient of the award. He won his only Oscar for Scent of a Woman in 1993 and has received nine Academy Award nominations.

The award also recognises humanitarian work. Pacino was honoured for supporting disaster relief, fighting hunger and poverty, and helping local theatre companies.
