RAWALPINDI: Residents of Lalkurti have raised alarm over the possible closure of a historic pre-partition dispensary in the area.

A delegation comprising local figures met National Assembly Standing Committee on Cabinet Division Chairman Malik Ibrar Ahmad to brief him about the situation.

The delegation stated that hundreds of underprivileged and low-income patients visit the facility daily and its closure would deprive them of basic treatment.

Malik Ibrar Ahmad assured the delegation that he would raise the issue at all relevant forums.
