RAWALPINDI: The family of Hina Javed, a married woman murdered in Rawalpindi two months ago, has demanded that the prime minister and the chief minister of Punjab form a special judicial commission to ensure a transparent investigation into the case.

They also requested that the DNA and forensic reports be shared with the family.

Speaking at a press conference at the National Press Club in Islamabad, the victim’s brother, Fahad Javed, stated that the brutality with which Hina Javed was murdered was beyond description. He added that they cannot even fathom the agony his sister must have endured in her final moments.
