PESHAWAR, July 28: Lower Dir Nazim Ahmed Hassan Khan has said that people in the area are facing serious health problems and the district government will join hands with the National Commission for Human Development to improve the situation.

He was speaking at a free medical camp held by the NCHD in collaboration with the Dir Medical Students’ Society at the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital, Samar Bagh, on Friday.

In the camp, 18 doctors conducted free medical check-up of 2,413 patients and medicines were provided free of cost to 1,876 patients.

A doctor said the patients needing surgeries would be operated upon in the Khyber Teaching Hospital.
