Man, son killed over water dispute in Faisalabad

TOBA TEK SINGH: A farmer and his son were shot dead in Chak Jhumra tehsil of Faisalabad on Thursday night.

Police said deceased Asmatullah Diyal of Chak 186-RB, Dogranwala, and his son, Muhammad Fahad, were attacked allegedly by Jahanzaib and his five accomplices at their outhouse on the Sangla Hill Road over an irrigation water dispute.

In his first information report, Complainant Haider Ali alleged that the suspects were stopped by his deceased father Asmatullah and his brother Fahad from stealing their irrigation water. At this, the suspects opened indiscriminate fire and critically injured them.

They succumbed to their injuries on the way to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital, Chak Jhumra.

electrocuted: A boy was electrocuted in Muhallah Muhammdpura of Gojra.

Reports say that Shahid (13) suffered a massive electric shock when he touched a live wire while switching on a water pump in his house.

As a result, he fell unconscious and was shifted to the Gojra THQ Hospital, where he expired.
