European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen says Iran-aligned groups must stop what she described as reckless and violent acts, following attacks on Riyadh airport, which she attributes to the Houthi movement in Yemen, Reuters reports.

The European Union stands in full solidarity with the people of Saudi Arabia and Gulf partners, von der Leyen says, adding that attacks on civilian infrastructure are “unacceptable”.
