IEA, EU discuss proposed release of oil, diesel stocks: diplomats

The International Energy Agency (IEA) and the European Union have discussed the release of oil and diesel stocks proposed last week with diplomats and analysts, expecting it to include volumes pledged in March, Reuters reports.

IEA countries have met to discuss the plan, as has the EU’s oil co-ordination group, diplomats say.
